4-H Programs

4-H offers a lot of programming outside of the club meetings and the fair.  There is always something to do and somewhere really cool to go to!  For some of the opportunities you need to be a 4-H member, but not for all of them!  Be sure to check out program opportunities that Trempealeau County 4-H offers like Camp Kinnissippewa, Little Miss/Mister 4-H Clover Contest, 4-H Foods Revue, and so many more!

Below are some overall opportunities that are offered through the 4-H program:

  • Educational Trips and Travel Opportunities
  • 4-H Camps
    • Offered in various different ways in each county across the state.  There are Cloverbud camps, day camps, overnight camps, STEM camps, and so many more!
    • Trempealeau County pairs up with three other counties to host Camp Kinnissippewa every summer
  • Awards
  • Key Award
    • The Wisconsin 4-H Key Award Program recognizes a select group of 4-H participants who have demonstrated consistent growth in their 4-H involvement, developed and applied their leadership skills and actively participated in the functions of their 4-H club and community.
    • Who is eligible? Youth in 10th grade or older who have completed three years of club work and one year of youth leadership
    • When/where is it? It is presented at the Trempealeau County Fair
    • Why apply? In addition to being recognized for your outstanding 4-H career, each Key Award recipient receives a framed certificate
      and a Key Award pin.
